FAQs

Q. What areas do you cover?
A. We deliver FREE to Weymouth, Portland, Dorchester. We also deliver to the surrounding areas. A delivery fee may apply to your venue but please contact us for further information.

Q. How long will you need to set-up and pack away?
A. We require 45-60 minutes to set up and 30-45 minutes to collect at the end of the party. Please bear this in mind if you are hiring a venue.

Q. How long is the hire period?
A. All day, approximately 10 – 6 or as long as you require it.

Q. Is Seashells Soft Play available all year round?
A. Yes! We can set up in a venue of your choice, at home or outside (weather and room size permitting,) To avoid disappointment please try and book your hire as early as possible.

Q. What age is the equipment for?
A. Our soft play and play equipment is suitable for 0-5 year olds. However, our Bouncy Castles are suitable for older children up to the age of approximately 10.

Q. Are you insured?
A. Yes! We have £5million Public Liability Insurance with Bridle Insurance and are also CRB Checked. We are also members of the British Inflatable Hirers’ Alliance (BIHA), and TIPE.

Q. How do I book?
A. Please click here and pay the deposit on-line and you will be emailed the receipt and confirmation.

Q. How do I pay?
A. A deposit of £50, which also serves as a ‘damages deposit’, is required to secure the booking. The full amount is then due on the day, in cash, once we have set up and you have confirmed you are 100% happy with everything. Please have the remaining balance ready for collection upon arrival as we will not leave our equipment with you if this is not ready. Your £50 ‘damages deposit’ will be returned, in cash, upon collection PROVIDING all the equipment is in the same clean, working condition it was delivered and signed for in – please see the T&Cs. The deposit is fully refundable if we are given 2 full weeks (14 days) notice to cancel via email or we will gladly reschedule the date for you.

Q. What happens if the equipment gets damaged at my venue?
A. Hopefully this doesn’t happen but in the event that it does you (the hirer) with incur a charge for repair to the item or replacing it.

Q. What are your Terms & Conditions?
A. We have full Terms & Conditions of Hire which you are obliged to abide by should you wish to book with us. Please click here to view them.

Q. What preparations do I need to make before you arrive?
A clear access to where the soft play equipment is to be set up, is required. The ground/floor space should be a flat and even surface, clear of any sharp objects. We will be able to set up more quickly and enable you to get on and enjoy the play area if you make sure the area is fully clear before our arrival. Any outside space MUST be clear of dog (or any other) faeces and we reserve the right to refuse delivery if the area is not suitably clean. If this is the case your deposit will be kept.
